| How to create custom icons for flash drives or USB drives |
|
You probably already know how to create custom icons for your local C drive or for your CD drive, but did you know there is an easy way to create custom icons for USB flash drives also? So whenever you plug in your USB stick into any computer, it’ll show up with your custom icon instead of the basic removable disk icon that Windows uses.
Here’s how you can create a custom flash drive icon:
First you’ll need to either find a .ico file on your computer that you would like to use or you will need to create your own. If you want to see all of the different icons that are already on your computer, simply perform a search in Windows for *.ICO.
If you do not like any of the icons already stored on your computer, you can create your own custom .ico file very easily by going to a site called FavIcon from Pics. It’s super easy to use, simply click Browse and select the file you want to convert into a fav icon and click Generate FavIcon.ico.
Go ahead and copy this icon file to the root of your USB flash drive and rename it to autorun.ico. Next, you will need to create a text file in Notepad called autorun.inf and place it in the root of the USB flash drive with the following text inside:
[autorun]
icon=autorun.ico
As you can see, the file just tells Windows the name of the icon file it wants to use as the drive icon. You can actually change the name of the icon file if you want to anything you like as long as you put that same name in the second line of the of autorun.inf file.
That’s it! Now whenever your stick your USB drive into your computer or any computer for that matter, you’ll see your custom icon! You can also try this technique for other USB devices, such as cameras, MP3 players, and more! Pretty neat! Enjoy!Labels: tricks and tutorial |

*LOCK FOLDER PKAI NOTEPAD*
x tahu trik ni korang dh tahu ke lum
kalau x tahu mari kita tambah ilmu
ok trik ni utk lock folder pkai notepad,
pastikan nama folder sama dgn .bat dibuat
cth:
1.buat 1 folder y nama evonet
2.buka notepad mskkan ren evonet evonet.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} dan savekan sbg tutup.bat
3.kemudian bukak blk new notepad mskkan ren evonet.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} evonet dan savekan sebagai buka.bat
4.skrg dh siap,file tutup.bat tu utk locked folder manakala buka.bat tu utk open blk folder
*JADIKAN NOTEPAD SBG DIARI*
1.buka new notepad k
2.tulis .LOG kemudian save nama sbg diari kat desktop
3.buka balik file diari nanti ada ms n time tekan enter anda tulis aper anda nk tulis
slps siap save
4.kemudian buka blk utk tulis lg..huhu
5.dh seterrusssssssssssss mcm tu la

This system extension increases your productivity dramatically by giving you quick and easy access to folder contents and files. Without opening each and every folder, you can browse the directory structure starting at any point by clicking the right mouse button on a file, folder or drive. The program adds a menu item to the context menus of shell objects, which displays the directory structure on demand. If you drag and drop an object on a folder or drive using the right mouse button, you can copy or move the object(s) to any folder of your computer by selecting it from the FastFolders menu. FastFolders also adds a new column to the "Details" view of Explorer windows, which shows the total size of folders including their subfolders and files. This is extremely useful for getting an overview of the distribution of your files and the disk space they occupy.

| Super Fast Shutdown For XP/VISTA |
|
It sometimes takes ages to shutdown Windows XP and Windows Vista, most of the time when you are in a hurry. This can be caused by processes that are still open or not reacting. Windows tries to close those processes which can take a long time. If you don’t have the time or patience to wait for the shutdown you might want to try the excellent freeware Superfast Shutdown which does exactly what the name suggests.
The shutdown is almost immediate which means it is much faster than the shutdown with the usual registry tweaks that can be applied to reduce the timeout delay for processes. The freeware runs fine on Windows Vista and XP, you should just be aware that Superfast Shutdown ignores everything that is still open and running. This could mean that you loose data that has not been saved. Make sure you save everything important before you activate the shutdown option.
Installing the freeware adds two shortcuts to your desktop. The first is called superfast shutdown and the second superfast reboot. Both options are great if you think that the normal shutdown and reboot procedure takes to long. Again, make sure that everything important is saved before you click on the shortcuts.

| Menghilangkan dual OS startup |

New IT info for who dont know how to remove this dual OS startup….camni klu komputer kawan2 bila startup dia mintak buat pilihan OS mana yang nak di pilih untuk beroperasi tetapi walhal anda mempunyai 1 OS sahaja…so aku akan guide kenkawan camna nak hilangkan dual OS detect …contoh aku jumpa problem ni dkt pc member aku yg hanya guna OS winXP tetapi bila startup dia mintak pilih winXP utk OS pertama n winXP jugak untuk OS kedua….caranya : 1. pegi ke myComputer klik kanan pada butang mouse n klik properties 
2. klik pada tab Advance pilih button startup and recovery n klik setting
3. klik pada button Edit.. edit startup manualy
4. delete salah satu pernyataan winXP pro n save kemudian restart komputer.

 Syukur pada Allah, EvoNet telah mula beroperasi pada 01 Januari 2008 dan majlis pembukaan rasmi pada 05 Januari 2008. Dengan berkat kesabaran dan kesungguhan aku, Yus dan abg Faizal akhirnya impian kami untuk berniaga telah tercapai..Letih dan pening kepala gak nak buka kedai ni.banyak yg kena settlekan..dari step mengemas, mengecat bertukang dan hingga ke networking sumer kami buat sendiri perlahan2..walau pun x tau,cuba gak sampai jadi...haa...bagi yg duduk area kota tinggi tu bleh ah singah2 di kedai kami ni.EvoNet menawarkan perkhidmatan internet ( rm 2.50 jer sejam..murah kan! ), baikpulih and naik taraf pc n laptop, ambil dan edit gambar @ video majlis kahwin dsb,serta macam2 lagi..nak tau lebih lanjut..contact evonet kay..Labels: starter... |
